The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has awarded a $10 million grant for an initiative to get every third-grader in Hawaii reading at grade level by 2015.

 

Harold K.L. Castle Foundation recognizes 21 schools throughout the state by awarding them with $10,000 each for increasing reading scores for third-grade students.
