UH Grad Schools Among the Best

On April 1, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin reported that three of the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) graduate schools were among those receiving national ranking in the U.S. News and World Report's "Best Graduate Schools 2008."  The three graduate schools are:

• The William S. Richardson School of Law, which ranked among the top 20 law schools for its environmental law, diversity, and low faculty/student ratio;
• The geriatric medicine program at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, which ranked 12th in the nation; and
• The international business graduate program at the Shidler College of Business, which ranked 21st nationally. 

The three programs' national rankings are evidence of UHM's potential to become a top ranking university.  With the support of the community and leadership, UHM can succeed in becoming a top tier university.
