Legislators Visit Hawaii Community College

On February 23, Senator Sakamoto and other legislators paid a visit to the Big Island to see for themselves the rundown conditions of Hawaii Community College buildings in Kona and Hilo.  The Legislature approved $6.95 million in planning and design moneys for new campuses in both East Hawaii and West Hawaii.  The Governor has not released the funds as yet.
